When I look at what the uniqueness of God is about, the
first think I have to know what does unique mean. Unique means “existing as the only one of a
kind” or “having no equal.” This is what
makes God unique, because He has no equal.
We know all the attributes of God from the Scriptures and in our
lives. The Psalms says “Who is like the
LORD our God?” There is none.
We
are told that the "LORD God of Israel, there is no one like you, God in
heaven above or on the earth below.” Paul
tells us there is one God and Father of all and there is one Lord (Jesus). The Scriptures says there is “no other God.” Isaiah tells us that
God
says, there is no other (God) besides me and I am the Lord and there is no
other. Paul tells us there are only one
God, the Father and only one
Lord, Jesus the Messiah. I find this
interesting, that God refers to the Father and Lord refers to Jesus the
Messiah. Something to think about. Yes, God is unique and means there is only
one of His kind and have no equal, now or forever. Blessings
