What is our most important stewardship? How do we keep it a priority?

I know I have been told that the most important stewardship that I have is my heart in the past, I cannot totally agree with him.  When I look at the Greek word for stewardship, oikonomia, it means administration, economy, dispensation.  The NIV use the word, management.   To me, my most important stewardship is my relationship with The Father and Jesus, our Lord.  Jesus tells me in Matt 22:  'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.”  Jesus tells us, not just with my heart, but also with my soul and mind, so He is first in my life.  The way I understand the scriptures, then is my wife, then children.  Then after that, we make our own decisions about others, church, etc and how to Love our neighbor as myself.     If we want to equate the heart with my relationship with God, then I can go with that.  We will give account of our stewardship to God in the future.

Stephen

(Luke 16:2-4 KJV)  And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. {3} Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. {4} I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

Stewardship:  3622. oikonomia, oy-kon-om-ee'-ah; from G3623; administration (of a household or estate); spec. a (religious) "economy":--dispensation, stewardship.

(Mat 6:21 NIV)  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(Mat 22:37-40 NIV)  Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' {38} This is the first and greatest commandment. {39} And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' {40} All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

(Mat 10:37 NIV)  "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
