What God wants me to do 

What does God want me to do.  There are two things that comes to mind on what our Lord Jesus wants me to. First, realize that the Lord is One.  Then I am to love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and with all my strength.  

But how do I really do it, Jesus our Lord tells me:  Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is why I am here.  As we already know, the only way we can show we love Him, is by obeying His commands or commandments. We are to reverence and be in awe of Him and to serve Him in all things.   

Interesting side, when looking at places in the Scriptures where fear is covered, doing His commandments are included.  This is why we are here alive right now, to love Him and to serve Him.

Ecc 12:13 NKJV  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. 

Psa 111:10 NKJV  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. 

Mar 12:29-30 NKJV  Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.   (30)  AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.' This is the first commandment.
