This Psalm 136 is about God’s Mercy. There are 26 verses and 26 statements
are made about what Jesus Created. Mercy
is really showing the Love God has for us.

the firstborn of Egypt

Brought Israel
out from among them

A strong hand and
an active arm

One who split the
Reed Sea in two

Made Israel pass
through the middle of it
15.
Cast Pharaoh and
his armies into the Reed Sea
16.
One who led his
people into the wilderness
17.
One who struck
down great kings
18.
Killed famous
kings
19.
Including Sihon
king of the Amorites
20.
Og king of Bashan
21.
Gave their land
as an inheritance

To Israel his
servant as a possession

Who remembered us
in our lowly circumstances

Rescued us from
our enemies

He gives food to
all creatures
26.
Give thanks to
the God of Heaven
At the end of each verse
is the statement “for his gracious love is everlasting.” We are to be consistently give thanks to God the
Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. Giving thanks to God is His will for me in the
name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.
These 26 verses we are to mediate on the Blessings we have received from
the Father.

love is everlasting— (19) including
Sihon king of the Amorites, for his gracious love is everlasting— (20) and Og king of Bashan, for his gracious love

He it is who remembered us in our lowly circumstances, for his gracious
love is everlasting— (24) and rescued us
from our enemies, for his gracious love is everlasting. (25)
