Psalm 149 and my reflection
This chaper 149 of Psalms is one of the most inspiring for someone who says
they are part of the Body of Christ, which we are saints. Verse 1 says, Sing to the Lord a new song in the assembly of saints. Do we not realize that this is about us,
saints of the Lord Creator God (Jesus) and we will sing a new song. We find in Rev 5:9 and Rev 14:3 that is new
song is again reference related to Sons of God, is this not the same new song.
Verse 5 tells us “Let the saints be
joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds” as this is talking again to
us to be joyful in glory. Is this at our
change, as the Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Cor 15 that we all will be changed,
in the twinkling of an eye and will be glorified. When we are in bed at night, is the best time
in meditations when we are alone in thought with God, to sing praises to God.
The most exciting part of this Psalm is
the return of our Great King and Priest to take rule over the entire earth at
the start of the Millennium with us as Kings and Priests under the rulership of
Jesus our Lord. Jesus will force all
those who are living to obervse the Word of God along with the Feast of
Tabernacles and the other feast days as put in the Word, Lev 23. We will be
able to really help individuals then.
What an exciting future that waits for us.
Blessings

Rev 5:9
NKJV And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the
scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God
by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
Rev 14:3
NKJV They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before
the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song
except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the
earth.

15:51-52 NKJV Behold, I tell you a
mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Psa 149:1-9
NKJV Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And
His praise in the assembly of saints. (2) Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children
of Zion be joyful in their King. (3) Let them praise His name with the dance; Let
them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. (4)
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble
with salvation. (5) Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them
sing aloud on their beds. (6) Let the high praises of God be
in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, (7) To
execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; (8) To
bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; (9) To
execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise
the LORD!
