When I read Psalm 62, I did not realize it is known
as the “truly” = “Only” = alone” Psalm.
This was a time of rebellion under King David.
When I see King David said God is my rock salvation
and my salvation, this hits me hard, knowing this is so true. My life is based on our Lord and Creator
King, Jesus the Messiah. Because I know
I have fallen short in many parts of my life, it is by the grace of our Lord
that my salvation is sure.
Our Lord Jesus said, “My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.” Yes, I will and all other individuals “must
all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive the
things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or
bad.´
The Apostle
Paul tells us “WILL RENDER TO EACH ONE ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS” and yes, we will
have works or deeds, if we are a Christian.
We know that the only way we show Jesus our Lord that we Love Him, is by
obeying His commands.
We cannot
do it on our own, but by the Holy Spirit living in us and directing our Way of
Life that Jesus taught, instructed and live for our example. We do have this rebellion in our lives
because of Satan and his demons are why I know that Jesus is our Rock and
Salvation.
Blessings
