Psalm 80 and my reflections
When I was going through Psalm 80, my
mind stopped at verse two, covering Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh and saw
something I did not realize. These were
the sons of Rachel, wife of Jacob. Of
course, Joseph was the father of Ephraim and Manasseh. I
gave a presentation on who received the
Blessing and Inheritance from Jacob and why the Northern Kingdom was called
House of Israel. For some reason I did
not realize that they followed the Ark of the Covenant when the Nation of
Israel was marching across the desert and on the west side Ark of the Covenant when
Israel was stopped for camp. I found
this interesting.
