Psalm 77 and my reflections

Psalm 77 and my reflections

I found this Psalm 77 very interesting.  For some reason I did not realize that Asaph was close to Jeremiah and he left Asaph behind to minister to the suffering remnant.  When I did the questions for Jeremiah, it was like a   very deep Bible Study into the Book of Jeremiah and I did not realize this.  This is why this Psalm has a deeper meaning for me.
We are always told to put Jesus right into the middle of Scripture and see what it shows us.  I try to not look at the Old Testament Scriptures from a point of view of the Jewish Mind set, but from a Christian Mind Set.  We know from the Scriptures that the God Being who became Jesus the Messiah is the same God Head that did all the Creation and speaking when I read the Old Testament.  The Father is also mention in the Old Testament.  I would replace the word Lord with Jesus when reading the Words of Jesus from the Old Testament.
I look at Asaph’s Questions and ask from a Christian point of view:

·      Has Jesus rejected me?

·      Has Jesus unfailing love vanished forever?

·      Have Jesus promises failed?

·      Has Jesus forgotten to be gracious?

·      Is Jesus so angry at me that He has shut up His compassion?

The answer to all of the above questions is no, meaning NO!!!!!!
This all leads to the Apostle Paul book, Hebrews that tells us:  We should not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together so much the more as we see the Day approaching.
There is a lot of meaning in the Psalm, remember our other Believers when we meet with every Sabbath.
Blessings

Hebrews 10:25 NKJV  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
