What is your Red Line

What is your Red Line                         February 26, 2022 

Today, let’s talk about what is your Red Line, a discussion day about what is our red line. Especially war in Ukraine right now. 

First, what does it mean to cross the Red Line? 

The Red line, or "to cross the red line", is a phrase used worldwide to mean a figurative point of no return or line in the sand, or "a limit past which safety can no longer be guaranteed." 

Remember, the Alamo, a line was drawn in the dirt and it they want to stay and fight, they had to cross the line. 

The origin of the phrase in English traces back to the "Red Line Agreement" in 1928 between largest oil companies of Britain, the USA and France at the time of the end of the Ottoman Empire. 

At the time of signature, the borders of the former empire were not clear and to remedy the problem an Armenian businessman named Calouste Gulbenkian, took a red pencil to draw in an arbitrary manner the borders of the divided empire. 

The expression remained significant to global diplomacy and was reused during the UN's founding after the WWII, especially in the English-speaking world. Uniquely, in France one would "cross the yellow line"  

Some red lines today, 

Russia wants Ukraine back, has begin with war.  10 months ago President Vladimir Putin warned rival nations not to cross Russia’s “red line” in their actions or face a tough response.  Invasion of Ukraine, people are saying, nobody knows what to do.  He threaten nuclear war if threaten.

 

Canada truckers are crying for freedom and block international bridge to the United States and government buildings.  Their red line was cross by the government, freedom from mask/virus. 

38,000 United States truckers are going to do the same thing to Washington DC this week. 

Taking the virus shot, 1 and 2, maybe booster shot 

All of our presidents have used this phrase from time to time in the past. 

Abortion, protesting at an abortion clinic, is this your red line. 

We have red lines in our lives in so many different way.  

Throughout the scriptures there are so many red lines used by God. 

First, Adam and Eve was given a red line. 

Genesis 2:15-17 The LORD God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden in order to have him work it and guard it. (16) The LORD God commanded the man: "You may freely eat from every tree of the garden, (17) but you are not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because you will certainly die during the day that you eat from it." 

The red line given, Faced with eviction from the only home they had ever known, Adam and Eve were escorted out of their garden paradise. Adam remembered the warning words of God. 

Genesis 3:23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.  

Notice, Adam did not guard the Garden of Eden as he was told to do. 

Next red line cross, Cain 

Eve’s sons, Cain and Abel, grew to manhood. Cain, the elder, brought a sacrifice to the Lord of his home-raised produce. Abel, chose to offer

a firstborn lamb of his flock. Abel’s offering was accepted but Cain’s refused. 

Genesis 4:6-7 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?  (7)  If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it." 

Genesis 4:8 Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. 

Genesis 4:14 Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me." 

While God gave Moses the law on Mount Sinai, the people waiting below created a god they could worship.  

Exodus 32:8 They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, 'These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.' 

They cross a red line the people 

Exodus 32:27-28 Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.'" (28) The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died

There is so many more examples in the Scriptures where Israel cross the red line. 

Example, land of Egypt and their army, etc. 

But what are we, as believers or Christians are to do

There may come a time for each one of us when we may need to be like Daniel {Dan 6:22} and his friends or like Peter and the apostles and make the choice whether we should obey God or man. 

The bible clearly teaches that we must obey God if man/government asks or tells us to do something that opposes or contradicts God’s word and commandments. 

Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men. 

Obeying God is the most importance thing to every Christian, for our lives are from God. God provides us with our daily needs of food, drink and protection and has led us unto today. We do not really understand God’s love for each of us. It is right and proper to obey God. 

We are all familiar with this verse, but when we do things, do we sometimes put God to one side, and obey men and listen to their words blindly. 

Remember Satan is broadcasting and influencing our society and it affect each one of us on what we do. 

The Scriptures tells us we are told to get along with the government 

1 Samuel 15:22 Samuel said, "Does the LORD delight as much in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the LORD? Surely, to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams. 

Deuteronomy 13:4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 

Ezekiel 20:19-20 I am the LORD your God. You are to follow my statutes, observe my ordinances, and keep them.  (20)  You are to make my Sabbaths holy, and you are to let them serve as a sign between you and me, so that you may know that I am the LORD your God." 

I do not think we have a disagreement with what we have covered.  This next part is what we might have problem with. 

We know Apostle Paul tells us we are told to get along with the government 

Paul tells us that we have an obligation to respect government and obey the law of the land as long it doesn’t conflict with God law. 

Why? First of all, governments are in power by the providence of God. They derive their authority from Him.  Right or wrong, good or bad. 

Romans 13:1 Every person must be subject to the governing authorities, for no authority exists except by God's permission. The existing authorities have been established by God

God has ordained that there should be governing authorities. Every believer is to be subject to these various authorities, even if these authorities are evil as Nero, the emperor of Rome who cruelly persecuted Christians.

When Paul wrote this letter, Nero was in power. Yet Paul exhorted the Roman believers to submit to Nero’s authority, because that authority was ordained by God Himself, although God may not approve of all acts that a government or leaders may do. 

Romans 13:2 so that whoever resists the authorities opposes what God has established, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves

This is what truckers brought upon themselves. God may judge people through the human authorities He appoints. 

Romans 13:3 For the authorities are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you like to live without being afraid of the authorities? Then do what is right, and you will receive their approval. 

Government is to be obeyed because it is ordained to punish evil (Gk. kakon) and promote good (Gk. agathos). 

These words Paul wrote has no hidden meanings, no secret codes.  Just straight forward what they mean.  

Just between us, these words rankle us in America, depending on who is in power. Paul tells us that we have an obligation to respect the current government and obey the law of the land. 

Remember governments are in power by the providence of God. They derive their authority from Him. Thus obedience to them is obedience to God. Failure to obey government shows disrespect for God’s authority. 

In addition, governments are ministers of God to punish evil doers. As long as we are good, do not break the law of the land, we have nothing to fear. 

The law of the land holds no terror for those who do good. We must submit to governments and laws for they can exact just wrath and punishment on us as the sword of the Lord. 

Governments protect the rights, property and lives of private citizens from anarchy, violence, robbery, assault and murder, not perfectly, but they do. We must obey laws that are just and fair, but are not when they tell us to break God’s laws and commandments. 

Romans 13:4 For they are God's servants, working for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for it is not without reason that they bear the sword. Indeed, they are God's servants to administer punishment to anyone who does wrong. 

The sword is an instrument of death. Government has the right in the proper circumstances to impose capital punishment as well as to wage war. In Paul’s day, the common method of capital punishment was decapitation with a sword 

Romans 13:5  Therefore, it is necessary for you to submit to the authorities, not only for the sake of God's punishment, but also for the sake of your own conscience. 

For consciencesake: Believers must obey government not only because it is their civic duty, but because it is their spiritual duty before God. 

Romans 13:6 This is also why you pay taxes. For rulers are God's servants faithfully devoting themselves to their work. 

Paying taxes is the most obvious and universal expression of support for civil government. 

Romans 13:7 Pay everyone whatever you owe them—taxes to whom taxes are due, tolls to whom tolls are due, fear to whom fear is due, honor to whom honor is due. 

We are to fear and honor God above all others, but taxes and customs are likewise Christian obligations. 

But didn’t Jesus Himself command us to do so? Didn’t He say, give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s? By saying this, He upheld the authority of the government of Rome,  

Mark 12:17 So Jesus told them, "Give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were utterly amazed at him. 

This is way we not to be caught up into all the various battles against the state, unless they are forcing you to do something against God’s law. 

What is this all about.  What is your red line on things in your lives. 

If we continue to obey the law of the land, we should be fine.  If we let emotions kick in, we can be in big trouble. 

Let’s look at one example:  Canada truckers are crying for freedom and block international bridge to the United States and government buildings.  Their red line was cross by the government, freedom from mask/virus. 

We probably have sympathy for what they are doing.  May I ask, what Law of God is being broken here.  None I see, but I do see there are laws of the land being broken. 

Breaking the law of the land, the government has come down hard on the truckers and those helping them out.  Individuals who gave food, water, money and any type of help, are being heavy handed against them by the government. 

The trucks are being taken by the government and going to be sold.

The drivers and anyone who help out the drivers are having their banks account frozen, freeze truckers’ personal and corporate bank accounts, credit cards and compel tow truck companies to haul away vehicles to be resold.  Anyone who donated to the Freedom Convoy fundraiser after February 15th could possibly have their bank account frozen.  They broke the law of the land and are going to be punished.  

38,000 United States truckers are going to do the same thing to Washington DC.

So, what is your red line in your life.  

Example of government against a church following God’s Law.  Feb 19, 2022, an Alabama 7th Day Adventist school was forced to forfeit a playoff basketball game.  The authorities schedule the game at 4:30 pm, on the Sabbath, the school asked if the time could be changed to 7:30 pm so the game could be played after the Sabbath.  The authorities denied the request.

 Always Be grateful and thankful to the Father and Lord Jesus  

 The first thing that comes to mind is the Gospel as detailed by the Apostle Paul.  

 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  (4)  and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

     ·      Jesus died for our sins

·      Jesus was buried

·      Jesus rose again the third day 

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 

1 Peter 2:24-25 "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."  (25)  For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 

This is what we should be grateful during this season of what our Lord Jesus has done for each of us. 

Think about the Apostle Paul, was in prison, separated from friends, unjustly accused, beaten, constant irritation of the chains and pain of the iron brackets cutting into his wrists and legs. 

Paul could have complained, but his words were of praise and thanksgiving.  

Ephesians 5:19-20 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,  (20)  always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Think of it, always giving thanks for everything; no matter the circumstance. 

Philippians 4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 

·      The giving of thanks to God for all of Father’s Blessing should be on of the distinctive marks of the Believer in our Lord Jesus. 

·      We must not allow a spirit of ingratitude to harden our heart and chill our relations with God and with others Saints.

·      Without the attitude of Thanksgiving, we will start to have the attitude of Ingratitude,

·      This is a tragic thing, that Satan wants for us.  

·      Not having thanks is dangerous to ourselves and others

·      It dishonors God and leads to being dependence on man rather than God 

Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him. Instead, their thoughts turned to worthless things, and their senseless hearts were darkened

This is a heart that is cold towards God and indifferent to His Mercy and Love. 

This lifestyle will Lead to bitterness, complaining, and a joyless life 

Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up and causes you trouble, or many of you will become defiled.       {bitterness will cause me trouble} 

·      Ungrateful heart will bring on Bitterness, then creates a depression and feelings of hopelessness,

·      because we become focused on our problems rather than on the Lord Jesus. 

Ephesians 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption. 

If we would remember that the One who lives in us is God’s own Spirit, we would be much more selective about what we think, read, watch, say, and do 

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, quarreling, and slander be put away from you, along with all hatred. 

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another just as God has forgiven you in the Messiah. 

The old life comes from a hostile heart of bitterness, seeks its own way, speaks evil and wishes evil on others. How do we put away all bitterness? 

By letting God fill our hearts with His perfect love. The new life is tenderhearted, shows itself in acts of kindness, and is ready to forgive wrongs suffered from others. As Saints, this is what we are to do 

2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God! He always leads us triumphantly by the Messiah and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of knowing him. 

In reality, nothing will do more to restore contentment and the joy of our salvation than a true spirit of thankfulness

·      From one end of the Bible to the other, we are commanded to be thankful.

·      In fact, thankfulness is the natural outflowing of a heart that is attuned to God. 

Why should we be thankful? Because God has blessed us, and we should be thankful for each blessing. 

·      We seem never to be satisfied with what we have; rich or poor, healthy or sick.

·      But what a difference it makes when we realize that everything we have has been given to us by God!  

King David prayed: 

1 Chronicles 29:12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 

1 Chronicles 29:13 Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 

1 Chronicles 29:14 "But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 

We need to learn what the Apostle Paul had learned 

Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 

Every day is a Day of Thanksgiving for the believer. 

Philippians 4:6 Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving. 

·      Thanksgiving focuses upon relationship.

·      We look at it as a family relationship. 

·      The true meaning of Thanksgiving is the relationship between us and God. 

·      We are to acknowledging God as faithful, earnestly honoring and giving God thanks, in advance, for His abundant blessings. 

·      Do we take family and friends for granted. 

·      But we need to give thanks for those around us; our spouses, our children, our relatives, our friends and others who help us in some way. 

·      How many marriages and other relationships grow cold and eventually fail because of the sin of ingratitude 

1 Corinthians 1:4 I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 

·      Every Day we spend with family and friends, honoring and thanking our Heavenly Father for them

·      God for the bountiful blessings He provides. 

Why We Should Be Thankful 

2 Corinthians 4:15 All this is for your sake so that, as his grace spreads, more and more people will give thanks and glorify God. 

Acts 28:15 The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these people Paul thanked God and was encouraged. 

·      Thank the Father for those who touch your life.

·      Because it honors and Glorify God

·      When we give thanks, we recognize that God exists

·      We recognizes our total dependence on God 

Because it is commanded in Scripture 

The Psalms are filled with the call to give thanks 

Psalms 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name

·      James says we try to draw back from difficulties, yet not one of us is exempt from some kind of trouble.

·      In many parts of the world it is dangerous even to be a Christian because of persecution.

·      And yet in the midst of those trials we can thank God,

·      because we know that He has promised to be with us and that He will help us.

·      We know that He can use times of suffering to draw us closer to Himself: 

James 1:1-3 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.  (2)  Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  (3)  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 

James 1:4-5 But you must let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.  (5)  Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to everyone generously without a rebuke, and it will be given to him. 

1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 

Colossians 1:12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 

In ourselves we do not have the strength that we need to live the way God wants us to live, but with the Holy Spirit and our Lord Jesus living in us, we can live the Way of Life. Jesus wanted us to do.  

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. 

Apostle Paul gives the command to be thankful 

Colossians 3:15-17 Let the peace of the Messiah also rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body, and be thankful.  (16)  Let the word of the Messiah inhabit you richly with wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and singing to God with thankfulness in your hearts.  (17)  And whatever you do, whether by speech or action, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. 

Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 

·      With thanksgiving - Thanksgiving connected with prayer.

·      We can always find something to be thankful for,

·      no matter what may be the burden of our wants, or

·      the special subject of our petitions in our prayers. 

When we pray for the supply of our wants, we may be thankful for what we receive; 

When we pray for healing from sickness, we may be thankful for the health we have enjoyed, and for God’s being merciful in our past days. 

We all have health problems of some types, the Father goodness in now sparing our lives; 

Remember, do not think of the things we did not receive after praying, It is all in the hands of our Lord Jesus when these things will happen. 

But, think of the countless blessings God has given each of us without asking. 

Psalms of Thanksgiving 

Psalms 100:1-2 A Psalm of Thanksgiving. Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!  (2)  Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing

Psalms 100:3-4 Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  (4)  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 

Psalms 100:5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. 

This is the lesson we should learn about Thanksgiving, always in the attitude of giving thanks to God and this attitude to be part of our everyday life.

As the Spring Feast Days draws upon us this year, we should think deeply of all the Blessings He has given us this past year and thank Him for them. 

Jesus’ goodness in now sparing our and family lives; 

When we pray that our children, grandchildren, and friends may be preserved from danger and death, 

We may remember how often God has interceded to save them on our behalf and also ourselves.  

When we realize we have sin, we pray for forgiveness 

We of all people, realizing we are to be given the greatest gift that we will be changed in the twinkling of the eye and become Spirit Being, the son of the Most High God, the Bride of our Lord, to serve with Him for all eternality.        What more can a person ask for.  

1 Corinthians 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed

As a review, Things to thank the Father and the Lord Jesus for 

1.   Thank God Especially for our Salvation in Jesus Christ

2.   Thank God for His Continued Presence and Power in our lives

3.   Thank God for the Material Blessings That He has Given us

4.   Thank God for the People in our Life

5.   Thank God in the Midst of Trials and Even Persecution

6.   Thank God for the joy of a personal relationship with God?

7.   Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Scriptures and right now on His throne at the right hand of the Father. 

A lesson we should learn about Thankfulness, always be in the attitude of giving thanks and with gratitude to God and this attitude to be part of our everyday life.         It is uplifting in our life.  

The main thing is, always have gratitude for what we have, Our Lord Jesus, family, health we have and what we have been blessed with.

Book of Psalms 7:1-17 February 5, 2022

 Book of Psalms 7:1-17                 February 5, 2022 

The Book of Psalms, chapter 7 is all about Lord Jesus, trust, war, the wicked, and lies? 

In You Do I Take Refuge 

A David psalm, which he sang to the LORD, because of the words of Cush, a Benjamite. 

Cush the Benjaminite was among evil men from King Saul’s tribe who spied and spread vicious rumors for pay and approval (2 Sam 22-24, 26). 

Remember, we are applying Psalms to our own lives, not to David life. 

Psalms is a prophecy book that is quoted from more than any other book of the Old Testament.   It was written for us today. Let’s look at from a different perspective on how it applies to us.   Always put Jesus right in the middle of the Book of Psalms and us right there.   

Psalms 7:1 LORD, my God, I seek refuge in you. Deliver me from those who persecute me! Rescue me! 

Summary: The Saints come to you, Lord Jesus, that we have trusted, and for protection, and to save us from all the wicked that persecute your Saints. 

What do we have with Jesus 

Hebrews 6:18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. 

Two unchangeable things from Jesus are the promise and the oath of Jesus, our Lord, each of which would be a firm ground of the assurance of salvation, and in each of which it would be impossible for God to lie. 

Psalms 7:2 Otherwise, they will rip me to shreds like a lion, tearing me apart with no one to rescue me. 

Summary: Please, Lord Jesus, do not allow your Saints enemies like a lion and to rip us to pieces with no one to rescue Your Saints 

Remember David had witnessed a lion who had captured its prey, and he compares his own fate to being captured and torn apart. {1 Sam 17:34} 

Satan, the chief of all persecutors and who instigates individuals against the Saints, and his helpers, the demons are after us with the spirit of Satan 

Now Satan prowls the earth, seeking to hinder all he can from choosing salvation and living a life of obedience. 

1 Peter 5:8 Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 

2 Timothy 4:17-18 However, the Lord stood by me and gave me strength so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the gentiles could hear it. I was rescued out of a lion's mouth.  (18)  The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will take me safely to his heavenly kingdom. Glory belongs to him forever and ever! Amen. 

Jesus by His Word will rescue us. 

Psalms 7:3 LORD, my God, if I have done this thing, if there is injustice on my hands,  

Summary: Lord Jesus, our God, if your Saints have done this thing, if there is injustice on our hands,  

This is where David was refers to the crimes of which he was falsely and wrongly accused.  Is this how Satan accuse us before the Father and people of authority. 

Psalms 7:4 if I have repaid my ally with evil or without cause have robbed my foe 

Summary: if your Saints have rewarded those who did us good with evil, if Your Saints have plundered our enemy without justification, 

David is saying he has not done this that he knows of.  Are we, As saints,  not to pray and give water to our enemies. 

Proverbs 25:21-22 If your enemy hungers, give him food to eat; and if he thirsts, give him water to drink.  (22)  For you'll be piling burning coals of shame on his head and the LORD will reward you. 

Psalms 7:5 then, let my enemy pursue me, let him overtake me, and let him trample my life to the ground. Interlude Let him put my honor into the dust. 

Summary: Please have mercy on your Saints when you correct us, Lord Jesus and do not let our enemies correct us when we break your commands 

These are solemn words that David spoke to God. These words does apply to us, except we all have sin and continue to sin and go to the Father and ask forgiveness.  We are His Saint, part of the Body and future Bride of our Lord, Jesus. 

1 Corinthians 4:4 For my conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who examines me. 

1 John 3:21-22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God.  (22)  Whatever we request we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 

What sin have we done against others, probably gossip, not praying for someone when asked to, not helping out the Brethren when we can, etc. 

As a Believer, we are to 

1 Thessalonians 5:15 Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Instead, always pursue what is good for each other and for everyone else. 

Are we guilty of the crimes laid to my charge by Satan to the Father. 

Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say, "Now the salvation, the power, the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah have come. For the one who accuses our brothers, who accuses them day and night in the presence of our God, has been thrown out. 

Romans 8:34 Who is the one to condemn? It is the Messiah Jesus who is interceding on our behalf. He died, and more importantly, has been raised and is seated at the right hand of God. 

1 John 2:1-2  My little children, I'm writing these things to you so that you might not sin. Yet if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus, the Messiah, one who is righteous.  (2)  It is he who is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world's. 

Psalms 7:6 Get up, LORD, in your anger! Rise up, because of the fury of my enemies; Arouse yourself for me; you have ordained justice.  

Summary:  Lord Jesus, Get up in your anger! Rise up, because of the rage of Saints enemies; Arouse Yourself for us; You have ordained justice.  

Jesus had righteous anger and did not sin. {Be angry and do not sin – Eph 4:26}.  This is what we are to do, have righteous angry.  We should be outraged by injustices, violence, greed, poverty, abortion, and death that is all around us. Satan and his demons are behind it all. 

Psalms 7:7 Let the assembled peoples gather around you, while you sit enthroned over them on high. 

Summary: Let the assembly of the Saints gather around You, Lord Jesus and You will sit high above them.  

Lord Jesus will be doing and assume the judgment seat, to be honored and given to Him from the Father. 

Psalms 7:8  For the LORD will judge the peoples. Judge me according to my righteousness, LORD, and according to my integrity, O Most High. 

Summary: For the Lord Jesus will judge the Saints. Judge us according to our righteousness and to our innocence, O Most High. 

We are in a Spiritual and Physical battle right now.  We know we are not alone in this battle.  One of Satan’s tactics is to make us think that we are in this battle all by ourselves.  

Satan plan is to feed lies to our minds, isolate each of us {physically and mentally}, and speak half-truths to each of us.  Satan sends government officials against the Saints, you and me, with this lockdown of business and churches.  

John 10:10 The thief {Satan} comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly. 

Hebrews 2:11 Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. 

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. 

The Father does not see our righteousness, what He sees is Jesus righteousness in us, since Jesus lives in us. 

Psalms 7:9 Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous. For you are the righteous God who discerns the inner thoughts.  

Summary: Please Lord Jesus, bring an end to the violence of the wicked and establish your righteous Saints with your covering. For You are the Righteous God who discerns the inner thoughts of Your Saints.  

The wicked will remain until Lord Jesus Returns to the earth to set up His Kingdom and gives them a new heart.  The Saints received the Holy Spirit with a New Heart.  

To search or try “the heart and the reins” is an expression frequently used in the Bible to denote that God knows all the thoughts and feelings of people; that is, that he thoroughly understands the character of all people, especially the Saints.  {example Jer 17:10}  

Psalms 7:10 God is my shield, the one who delivers the upright in heart. 

Summary: Lord Jesus is our shield and saves your Saints who loves You and follows Your commands 

Jesus protects the believer like a military shield, an invisible defense, our guardian Angels. 

The wicked will not come to an end until the start of the Millennium and then for a very short period at the end of the Millennium. 

1 Peter 5:10  After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you by the Messiah Jesus to his eternal glory, will restore you, establish you, strengthen you, and support you. 

Ephesians 6:16 In addition to having clothed yourselves with these things, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 

Psalms 7:11 God is a righteous judge, a God who is angry {or wrath} with sinners {wicked} every day. 

Summary: Lord Jesus, you are the righteous Judge and condemns Your Saints enemies, the wicked 

2 Timothy 4:8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord {Jesus}, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 

Romans 1:18 For God's {Jesus} wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of those who in their wickedness suppress the truth. 

Lord Jesus continually calls the wicked to repentance by some sign of His judgments.  He does not want to be around sin continually and at His 2nd coming, will stir up all His wrath what the wicked has done to the Saints. 

Psalms 7:12 If the ungodly {wicked} one doesn't repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will string his bow and prepare it. 

Summary: Unless the wicked Repent, Lord Jesus is preparing for war with His Sword and Bow 

Jesus is the great warrior of war and is preparing the battle against the wicked who are persecuting against the Saints.  Unless the wicked repent, Jesus will slay the wicked in battle, known as Armageddon. 

Lord Jesus is a God of War with military weapons {Isa 59:17} 

Psalms 7:13 He {Jesus} has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. 

Summary: Lord Jesus instruments of deadly, burning arrows are the means of putting the wicked to death  

Jesus deadly weapons, diseases of various kinds, judgments, and famine, pestilence and war,  4 horsemen.  Arrows for burning would be appropriate for against armies. 

Psalms 7:14 Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to lies. 

Summary: The Wicked person thinks up evil on others, conceives mischief and practice deception and gives birth to lies. 

Pregnant: The wicked become “mothers” to trouble. They will give birth to their own destruction.  Interesting choice of words.  Wicked men labor to do evil. 

The wicked are as a woman with child, and eagerly desires to bring it forth, and is in pain till he commits it;  forming a plan of evil. 

James 1:14-15 Instead, each person is tempted by his own desire, being lured and trapped by it.  (15)  When that desire becomes pregnant, it gives birth to sin; and when that sin grows up, it gives birth to death. 

Psalms 7:15 He digs a pit, even excavates it; then he fell into the hole that he had made.  {there is a number of verses like this in Psalms} 

Summary: The Wicked person digs a pit and then falls into the pit they have dug. 

The wicked schemes for the destruction of others prove his own ruin even before he has completed them. 

1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As it says in the book of Job, God uses man’s own brilliance to trap him; he stumbles over his own “wisdom” and falls. 

Psalms 7:16 The trouble he planned will return on his own head, and his violence will descend on his skull

Summary: The violence the Wicket plans for the Saints will come down upon his own head 

The punishment of the wicked described from another point of view as the natural result of his own actions. He falls into the snare which he laid for others. 

An example of this 

Matthew 27:3-5 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders.  (4)  "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility."  (5)  So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. 

Psalms 7:17 But as for me, I will praise the LORD for his righteousness, and I will sing to the name of the LORD Most High. 

Summary: The Saints will give thanks and praise to Lord Jesus and will sing praises to His Name, LORD Most High. 

Psalms 5:8 LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your path straight before me. 

The Saints will praise Jesus for His righteousness in me, for His justice, and His mercy, and above All Things.
