Compare the spiritual condition and ultimate destinies of the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom.

We found that the Northern Kingdom (Israel) and the Southern Kingdom (Judah) spiritual condition became corrupt and contrary to the Law of God that He set down for both nations.  We know that Israel went into captivity by Assyrians and was in a worldwide dispersion and not returned to their homeland.  Judah went into captivity by Babylon and after 70 years, returned to their homeland.  When the millennium start, Jesus will bring back to Jerusalem all Israel who was in the dispersion and Judah to join together again under King David to be one nation, Israel.  Yes, they both have great futures at the start of the millennium with Jesus directing them both.  blessing

Stephen

(Jer 3:18 NIV)  In those days the house of Judah will join the house of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your forefathers as an inheritance.

(Jer 23:5-6 NIV)  "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. {6} In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.

(Jer 23:8 NIV)  but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' Then they will live in their own land."

(Jer 33:7 NIV)  I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before.

(Jer 50:4 NIV)  "In those days, at that time," declares the LORD, "the people of Israel and the people of Judah together will go in tears to seek the LORD their God.

(Ezek 37:16-17 NIV)  "Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, 'Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, 'Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.' {17} Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.

(Ezek 37:19 NIV)  say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph--which is in Ephraim's hand--and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.'

(Hosea 1:11 NIV)  The people of Judah and the people of Israel will be reunited, and they will appoint one leader and will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.
