Psalm 67 and my Reflections.

Psalm 67 and my reflections.

What jumps out at me in this Psalms, is David ask God to be merciful to him and let his face to shine upon us.  My mind goes to what the Apostle Paul said, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God.”

When King David said, let his face to shine upon me, David is asking God to bless him.  My mind goes to where Paul said, “Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

David said in verses 4 through 7, to me is referring to the Millennium, when Jesus will rule all the earth and all people will praise Him and sing to the Lord and He will govern all nations upon the earth, as Isaiah tells us.  It will be a wonderful time for all of us.

Blessings

2 Co 13:14 NKJV  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Eph 1:3 NKJV  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Isa 42:10-12 NKJV  Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!  (11)  Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, The villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, Let them shout from the top of the mountains.  (12)  Let them give glory to the LORD, And declare His praise in the coastlands.
