Psalm 87 and My Reflections

Psalm 87 and My Reflections
Psalms 87, Zion, the City of God or as we know it, Jerusalem.
Psalms 87:2-3 NKJV  The LORD loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.  (3)  Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah

We find that our Lord Creator loves the City of God, Jerusalem.
Luke 19:41 NKJV  Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it,

We find Jesus wept over City of Jerusalem for what was going to happen to it by the Romans.  When Jesus returns to the earth to set up His Kingdom at the start of the Millennium (1000 year rule), Jerusalem will be its headquarters.
Zechariah 14:16-19 NKJV  And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
(17)  And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain.  (18)  If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
(19)  This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Zechariah tells us that all people will come up to City of Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.  If they do not go to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, they will be punish by not receiving, no rain, until they start to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles and going to Jerusalem.
Jerusalem will be the center of all activity with the Temple.  We know all nations will come up to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, since the Temple will only be open of the Feast days, including the Sabbath Day.  That is right, the Temple will be closed on Sunday and the other days of the week.
Psalms 87:5 NKJV  And of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her; And the Most High Himself shall establish her."

Yes, Jesus will establish her, Zion, City of God, Jerusalem.
With the Temple in Jerusalem during the Millennium, it will be the place to go.  Cannot hardly wait to see it.
Blessings
