Psalm 71 reflections

Psalm 71 reflections
I found Psalm 71 is for those of us in old age.  Now I really fit into this age group.  We are told we are given 3 score and 10 years and that is where I am now.  I do put my trust in our Lord and Creator, Jesus.  My prayers are asking God to help me to finish strong and not to cast me off in my old age.
I do not have the strength I had when I was younger in life and as I grow older, my strength fails.  I have great and severe troubles in life, physical problems, cancer, heart disease, pace maker, etc, so many thing that have occur in my life.
My Lord have given me so many blessings in the age I live, a beautiful bride of my youth, family, friends and the main one, having the Holy Spirit living in me.
Vs. 20 is so encouraging to me in my old age, if I should die, I have the promise of the resurrection, I shall be revive and have the Spirit Body while being part of the Body of Christ or Bride of Christ.  I will be brought back to life with a physical body (spiritual) and be just like our Elder Brother, Jesus.
I shall reign with Christ and be Priests and Kings during the Millennium, bring all mankind to salvation.  I will praise God forever.
Blessings
Steve
Psa 71:1 NKJV  In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame.

Psa 71:9 NKJV  Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

Psa 71:20 NKJV  You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
