Psalm 69 reflections

Psalm 69 reflections

This information was pointed out to me many years ago about the “Silent Years in the Life of Christ.”  This Psalm 69 covers the first 30 years of the life of our Lord and Creator.  There is so much in the Psalm, where does one go to describe what we learn.  The verse that jumps out at me was Psalms 69:8, where Jesus taught about his half-brothers (same mother).
This confirms what Matthew said, Jesus was the son of Mary, his mother, his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas and also sisters.  This understanding is contrary to what a number of churches teaches that Jesus did not have any half-brothers or half-sisters.  Then to confirm it, then Mark as another witness said the Jesus has brothers, James, Joses, Judas, and Simon and with sisters. We know that two of the brothers, after their conversion, wrote books that are in the Bible, James and Judas.
Interesting, how it all comes together with the Holy Spirit leading in all things.

Psalms 69:8 NKJV  I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother's children;

Matthew 13:55-56 NKJV  Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?  (56)  And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?"

Mark 6:3 NKJV  Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?" So they were offended at Him.
